Fort Christiansvaern

Fort Christiansvaern was constructed circa 1749 and was partially rebuilt in 1771 after hurricane damage. This large yellow brick structure sits on a point in the center of Christiansted harbor. The structure is star shaped when viewed from above (sorry, I don't have an arial view), and is maintained by the National Park Service as a historic monument. It is open to the public, admission is $2 per person.
