St. Croix Leap

This is a wood shop nestled into the heart of the Rain Forest. All the products here are made from native wood. A lot of Mohogany is used. They have a large assortment of things, from furniture to nick nacks. The man who owns the shop for the past thirty years is very friendly and was happy to let the kids wander around the shop. He has three large freindly dogs keeping watch. We purchased some refrigerator magnets, a palm tree for Kiersten, a dolphin for Aston and a fish for Taylor, and the owner hand engraved each with the children's names. There are some magnificent blocks and stumps lining the entrance road (there is a picture of one of the stumps below). It reminded me a lot of Mike and Dad's shop in Vermont.
