Shoy Beach

Shoy beach is located just East of the Bucaneer Resort, (see St. Croix map) and is an excellent beach for the children. The water stays shallow quite a distance out, and the bottom is sandy and uniform. Traffic there is generally light, especially weekday afternoons. To the East end of the beach is better snorkeling, and the West is better for swimming. As is the case with the best beaches, it is off the beaten track, and you must follow a path back through the trees to find it. Evening swims are nice since the sunset is beautiful here.
